Gerald T. Lau

Gerald Lau is a corporate attorney with Prudentia Law Corporation, with his office located near San Francisco, CA. He is well-versed in the EB-5 process and has represented EB-5 project principals, developers, fund managers, regional center principals, and EB-5 placement agencies. He also has vast and varied experience representing Global 500 and Fortune 500 companies, along with other public and private businesses at differing points in their business timelines, from startup to maturity.

Attorney Lau has successfully negotiated and closed numerous corporate transactions such as debt and equity financing (including public offerings), joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he has represented companies in manufacturing and commercial contracts, residential and commercial real estate transactions, and intellectual property matters in both non-EB-5 and EB-5 contexts. His background includes successfully structuring and completing a number of EB-5 projects in the technology, energy, and real estate development industries.

Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law in 2000. He is actively admitted to practice law in California, is a barrister of the San Mateo County Bar Association, and a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the LRS Attorney Panel.
